                                                                       SCRIPT WRITING GUIDE
                                                                BOGOR HOSPITALITY JOURNAL

A. General Requirements

Authors who will submit the manuscript to the editor of BOGOR HOSPITALITY JOURNAL must pay attention to the general requirements below:

       1. The written text must be related to the field of Hadith Science.
       2. The manuscript is an original article (never published elsewhere) sourced from the results of a study or research.
       3. The script is written in Indonesian, or English.
       4. The manuscript is accompanied by an abstract in Indonesian and English (bilingual).
       5. The script is accompanied by keywords in English.
       6. Writing notes (notes) using footnote
       7. The submission of the manuscript is accompanied by the author's biodata, such as full name, field of                        expertise, agency address (affiliate), and electronic mail address (email).
       8. Posts submitted via online submission at :                                                                                                               https://ojs.stpbogor.ac.id/index.php/bhj/about/submissions
       9. Manuscripts that go to the editor will go through a double blind-review process by the best                       partner and the decision ”accepted” is determined by the Editor. The published manuscript will               be edited again by the editor without changing the substance.

B. Format and Systematics

    1. The manuscript is sent to the editor in the following format:

      a. A4 paper size with a top margin of 2.5 cm, bottom 2.5 cm, right 2.5 cm, and left 2.5 cm with a row density of 1.15.
      b. A minimum of 12 pages and a maximum of 25 pages.
      c. Each subtitle is written in Times New Roman size 12 and in bold
      d. The Latin typeface for writing text is Times New Roman size 11 and size 10 for footnotes.
      e. The Arabic typeface for writing text is Arabic Transparent or Traditional Arabic size 16 for text and size 12 for footnotes.
      f. Script writing is arranged with a spacing of 1.15, one column format, except abstract/abstract, bibliography, table title/table contents, title of figure/diagram/graph/chart / sketch arranged 1 space.
     g. The title of the text and the title of the discussion is written with capital letters (all capital) and bold (bold), while the writing of the subtitle is written with a capital letter on the first letter of each word, except conjunctions (and, in, or, with, and, about, which, against, so, because, then), and prepositions (in, to, from, on, to, in, by, until, for, by).

    2. The script is written with the following writing Systematics:

      a. TITLE (Times New Roman 14). The title must be specific, clear, concise and informative, with a maximum number of 12 words including conjunctions. It is possible that there is a main title followed by a subtitle.
      b. AUTHOR'S NAME(Times New Roman 12). Authors must use real names (not pseudonyms) and do not include a degree. The full name followed by the title as well as the author's description can be displayed in the footnote. First author as correspondence and must be marked with an asterisk (*). If there are more than one authors, they must be separated by a comma (,).
      c. AUTHOR AFFILLIATiON (Times New Roman 11). Affiliation is the address of the institution / institution where the author works/works / studies. This affiliation is closely related to the competence, responsibility and juridical consequences assumed by the author's institution of origin.
      d. CORRESPONDENCE (Times New Roman 11). The correspondence contains the electronic mail address (email) of the first author.
      e. ABSTRACTS and ABSTRACTS (Times New Roman 12). Abstract content or abstract (Times New Roman 10). Place the English abstract first for the manuscript written in Indonesian, then followed by the Indonesian abstract and vice versa. Abstract consists of the subject matter, objectives, methods, results, and/or the results of the study/research. The abstract is written in the form of one paragraph, without reference (reference), without abbreviations/acronyms, and without footnotes. Abstracts are written not in mathematical form, questions and conjectures. The abstract contains at most 200 words in English and Indonesian.
       f. KEYWORDS. Keywords (Times New Roman 11) and content keywords (Times New Roman 11). Keywords or keywords must be in English in accordance with the rules/standard thesaurus. Minimum of three keywords and maximum of seven
       g. INTRODUCTION (Times New Roman 12). The contents of the introduction are written in the font Times New Roman 11,
       h. LITERATURE REVIEW (Times New Roman 12). The contents of the literature review are written in Times New Roman font 11. Literature review is a description of the theory used as a support in the discussion of the results of the study/research. All references used in the literature review and the contents of the manuscript (used as a source of quotations), must be in the reference list (references).
       i. METHOD (Times New Roman 12). The contents of the method are written in Times New Roman font 11. The method is a series of work in the implementation of research, ranging from the implementation of data retrieval to data analysis.
       j. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION  (Times New Roman 12). The contents of the results and discussion are written in Times New Roman11 font. The results are not raw data, but data that has been processed/analyzed by a predetermined method. The discussion is a comparison of the results obtained with the concepts / theories in the literature review. The content of the results and discussion includes statements, Tables, Figures, diagrams, graphs, sketches, and so on.Simplify tables and use open tables, and map images are more focused on the object under study and should not be too large in file size and complex (attempted in JPG format); tables and images are numbered in order.         k. CONCLUSION (Times New Roman 12). The contents of the conclusion are written in Times New Roman font 11. Conclusion is an overview of the results of the discussion of research that has been done.
        l. SUGGESTIONS  (optional) (Times New Roman 12). The contents of the suggestions are written in Times New Roman font 11. Advice is best written in one paragraph.
       m. ACKNOWLEDGMENTS  (optional) (Times New Roman 12). Fill in the thanks with the font Times New Roman 11. A thank you should be written in one paragraph.
       n. BIBLIOGRAPHY  (Times New Roman 12). The contents of the bibliography are written in Times New Roman font 11 and written 1.5 spaces. Bibliography is a reference source / reference that is used as citation material for manuscript writing. Bibliography writing using the rules of the American Psychological Association (APA). The number of reference sources used as a bibliography of at least 12 titles of scientific literature (80% of primary references, and 20% of secondary references). Primary reference sources, such as journals, research reports, theses, dissertations, and proceedings papers. Secondary reference sources, such as: books and internet sources. Citation writing is recommended using reference applications (reference manager) such as Mendeley, Zotero, Reffwork, and others.

C. Collection Mechanism

Reference source citation techniques using footnotes/ footnotes, with examples as follows:

The Format of writing a bibliography or bibliography used in About the Journal is based on the APA Style 6th Edition Guide as the following example:
